What this site is for
The calculators are educational. Loan and mortgage pages estimate a payment, a payoff, a refinance comparison, or an adjustable-rate reset from rates you type. Savings and retirement pages project a balance, a contribution limit, or a required distribution from the rule that page cites. Tax pages estimate a paycheck, a bracket, self-employment tax, or capital-gains tax from the figures you enter. The formulas and the rounding are documented in the editorial policy. A result is the arithmetic for those inputs. It is not a quote, a tax filing, or a recommendation.
Pennyplotter is not a lender, broker, loan servicer, tax preparer, or government agency. It does not take applications, pull credit, or match anyone with a loan. It does not know a reader's income, debts, credit history, or tax return except for numbers that person types into a page, and it does not produce advice for a particular person. The disclaimer states that limit.
Who is responsible
Giuseppe Ilarda owns Pennyplotter. He writes the calculators and the explainers, and he checks them before they are published. The author and the reviewer are the same person. That is the bio. It does not state a credential, a certification, or a professional finance background. The pages are educational estimates, not financial advice.

How the site is built
Pages are static files. The calculators run in the browser. As published, the site loads Google Analytics with consent defaults described on the privacy policy. It does not load advertising or a Google-certified consent banner. Those slots stay off until the owner turns them on. Hosting is intended for Cloudflare Pages.
